Everything from self-help books and talk shows to a variety of religions promise it.  Advertisements sell the idea that it can be found in sex, a pill, a new car, a bottle, or bought with a credit card.  But the teachings and the life of the Apostle Paul reveal that real joy is something that transcends our situations and circumstances.
